Project Scope

WJFE was contacted to provide the demolition plans for the existing timber bridge deck with asphalt wearing surface as well as the steel truss superstructure and floor beams.  The asphalt and timber deck were removed utilizing a skid steer loader while the truss superstructure was removed in four sections.  The truss sections were analyzed for adequate lifting points and temporary shoring towers were utilized during the demolition process.
